The gyms are closed and Parkrun has been cancelled. Many of us are working from home and heeding the Government’s advice to not leave the house.
So what can we do to keep fit and healthy?

All it takes is to make a small, healthy change that you can incorporate into your time over the next 30 days.
Choose a simple exercise that you can do from home daily. Or think of a habit that you’d like to bring into (or remove from) your life.
If you participated in the Virgin Pulse Global Challenge last year, you can contact your old team mates and think of a challenge you can all do, even when you are apart. Maybe you set a collective goal for your team, like a thousand sit-ups or 24 hours of planking? You can also challenge a colleague or just go solo.
Some ideas:
- Squats
- Burpees / Push-ups
- Plank (increase your hold time every day)
- Ab challenge (Check out the 100 ab challenge on YouTube!)
- Less screen time (e.g. No screen time 1 hour before bed)
- More sleep
- Drink more water (tip: keep track using a measured water bottle)
- Quit smoking
- Meal Planning
- Cut out sugar
