Due to COVIDSafe regulations, the Sustainability Summit and Awards, hosted by Architecture & Design magazine, took place online on 12 November 2020.
The format may have been different, but the content of the Summit and the calibre of the awards entries were as remarkable as ever. Leading designers, suppliers and sustainable building practitioners came together to celebrate the industry’s best projects, products and of course, people. Over 230 projects, people and products submitted entries this year.
Knauf Australia once again sponsored the Women in Sustainability Award, and Nadine Samaha from level architecture>konstrukt was announced the winner of the 2020 award. Click here to find out more about Nadine and her sustainability career.
“We were very impressed by this year’s entries and it could not have been easy for the jury to choose the winner. Congratulations Nadine, and may this award inspire you to further build on the excellent work you are doing to help secure a more sustainable future!” said Knauf Australia’s marketing manager, Stephanie Olsen.
Knauf Australia’s National WSH and Sustainability Manager, Kathryn Walker was a panelist in the session Planning for a carbon zero / carbon positive future. Knauf Australia was also able to host a presentation on our own sustainability journey. Click here to watch a recording of this presentation.
