Exciting news! The finalists in the 2019 Sustainability Awards have been announced. Knauf is very proud to see a very high quality of shortlisted candidates in the brand new Women in Sustainability Category, of which we are a sponsor.
Congratulations to the following Women in Sustainability award finalists:
Amanda Visser – The Star Entertainment Group
Helen King – Renewal SA
Natasha Mulcahy – Sekisui House Australia
Sandra Furtado – Furtado Sullivan
The Award will be presented to a woman who has made a significant contribution to built environment sustainability in Australia over the past 5 years. There was no age limit for nominees, but they had to demonstrate at least 2 years’ experience in the built environment industry.
“We are very excited about the calibre of the entries received in the Women in Sustainability category, and the judges will certainly have a tough time choosing the winner!” said Knauf National WHS and Sustainability Manager Kathryn Walker.
“We have a strong female presence at Knauf and there are many women working in sustainability in the industry as a whole, so it was an easy decision to sponsor this category this year. It resonates with our values as a company, and we naturally want to be involved in initiatives that will make people aware of what is possible in sustainability, that will raise awareness and will recognise people doing great things,” she said.
