Mark Hutchison, State Sales Manager WA, was recently invited on a tour organised by LTCM Australia.
Mark joined a group of about 20 people, including architects and builders, for an overnight tour to the Albany Hilton construction site.
Upon completion the Hilton Garden Inn Albany hotel will offer 108 rooms and will incorporate a restaurant and bar, fitness centre and meeting rooms.
The hotel is currently taking shape on the waterfront next to the new Albany Entertainment Centre from where it will offer stunning views over the harbour and ocean.
LTCM Australia have developed an innovative building system that employs existing components in a highly efficient building methodology, designed to increase the speed, accuracy, and compliance of the construction process.
Knauf recently aligned with LTCM and we have been providing them with design and technical support. Knauf is also currently supplying the Albany Hilton project through our distributor Quality Plasterboard Supplies.
LTCM is the primary contractor of the Albany Hilton project and the builder is Pindan Construction.
“LTCM have chosen to align with Knauf as we have an international presence and supply capability, which fits with their mid- to long-term goals for construction projects. It was a huge honour to represent Knauf on the tour,” said Mark.
Mark added that LTCM invited associated developers, architects and builders from Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth who joined them on the tour and it obviously provided a good opportunity to introduce them to Knauf products as well as Knauf’s Knowhow services and technical support tools.
“I want to thank LTCM for the wonderful opportunity and I am looking forward to seeing the Albany Hilton hotel completed. It is a large project in an excellent location and I am confident that it is going to be a huge asset to the area,” he said.
