Knauf’s perforated plasterboard, Designpanel, has achieved the ecospecifier GreenTag GreenRate Level A certification. Offering acoustic solutions for a range of commercial and residential projects, Designpanel is the first perforated plasterboard in the industry to achieve 100% points in the relevant materials categories for Green Star building projects.
The ecospecifier global GreenTag programme is recognised by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC) Green Star Materials Calculator. GreenRate Australasia certifies products to the new GBCA and NZGBC Materials Calculator rating Levels A, B or C. These ratings represent 100%, 75% and 50% respectively.
What this means is that the Global GreenTag logo signifies the confidence architects, builders and specifiers can have when specifying Designpanel in their Green Star building projects.
With an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) rating of up to 0.7*, Designpanel’s high quality sound experience is achieved through perforations in the plasterboard with an acoustic fleece lining and insulation, allowing both sound diffusion and absorption. The range of square, round and oval perforations allow for the creation of several distinct styles.
Designpanel, along with Knauf’s entire range of products can be purchased from PlastaMasta stores and distributors. To learn more about the range or download technical information, visit knaufplasterboard.com.au.
